“The first time that I watched the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) with my very first boyfriend I didn’t understand it at all. Then I watched it again and I suddenly understood it completely! Whenever I think of this film, I always think of the good memories: that boyfriend of the time, my current friend, my family. My connection is mainly with Clementine because I notice that when I am happy with my memories or think back to how good I am, how happy I am with myself, and the surrounding people. Then I think of this film how these people attach to each other through memories and therefore want to remove memories. This is how I feel connected and those memories of someone are especially important to look at a relationship. I can’t imagine someone I have such fond memories of wanting to erase from their memories.” – Lisa
