Sense 8 (2015): “..by pulling everyone I love and know closer to me..”

Sense 8

“I recently saw the last episode of the Netflix series Sense 8 (2015) created by the Wachowski sisters. Most people probably know it already, but anyway it’s about metahumans who are able to sense each other’s presences even though they all live in different parts of the world. Like, Africa Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The one thing that they have in common next to being ‘sensates’ is that they are being chased by a sinister and secret organization that doesn’t want these metahumans to exist. For some reason, they see them as a threat to the rest of the world. Anyway, aside from all the drama, some people don’t make it others do make it and a lot of things happen. What really got to me in the last episode was that eventually, which is the essence of this series, is that unity makes us stronger and that’s how it ends. Hence, the episode name ‘together till the end’. It hit me to the core because I once had a period in my life where I realized that there are so many people around me in my life, but I still felt alone. So, what I did to change this was by pulling everyone I love and know closer to me and then the feeling went away. Because we are stronger together and weaker when we are apart.”
